Henan University of Technology actively expands the field of open education, and maintains close cooperation and exchanges with international organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the United Nations World Food Program, the International Association for Grain Science and Technology, the International Organization for Standardization, the US Wheat Association, the US Soybean Export Association, the Canadian Wheat Board, and the French Grain Export Association.
Henan University of Technology pays attention to talent training and strives to build an international exchange platform for students to expand their international vision andenhance their innovation abilities. HAUT has signed agreements with more than 50 internationally renowned colleges and universities to establish student exchange programs.
Through multiple channels such as credit exchange, double-degree programmes, and short-term study during holidays, it strives to meet the exchange needs of different students. Additionally, HAUT have set up outstanding student exchange scholarships to comprehensively support students’ growth.Henan University of Technology has been offering joint education programs at the undergraduate level since 2003 and is one of the first universities approved by the Ministry ofEducation to carry out such initiatives. Currently, the university has six joint education programs. These include Food Science and Engineering and Biotechnology, incooperation with the University of Reading; Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Accounting, in cooperation with Bangor University; and Internet of ThingsEngineering, in cooperation with Chung Yuan University in Taiwan, China. All programs have been running smoothly for many years, training nearly 13,000 students. HAUT hassuccessfully passed several rounds of joint education program evaluations by the Ministry of Education. Food Science and Engineering and Internet of Things Engineering havesuccessfully passed engineering education certification. According to the latest MAX third-party evaluation results, student satisfaction with the teaching of these joint educationprograms is 97%, ranking among the top in the university.
